The Dynamic Cone Penetrometer is a well-tiked and proven unit. The hammer assembly is a separate unit to which 900mm long graduated rods can be attached.

The complete unit includes:
- 1 x hammer assembly
- 3 x 900mm rods (reads in 50mm increments)
- 1 x conical tip
- 1 x flogging piece
All items are plated for rust protection.
