Estwing Burpee Pick BP500
Named for the USA nationally recognized Burpee Museum of Natural History in Rockford, IL. Easy to carry on distant outcrops, it weighs only 1.02 kg (2.25 lbs). Features include magnets embedded in one side of the head for testing magnetism in rocks and minerals, Estwing’s patented nylon shock reduction grip, metallic blue colour with UV coating, a blade end for clearing covering vegetation, and a pick end for digging mineral samples and fossils.
The pick measures 43.18cm (17˝)L overall, and from the blade to the pick is 22.86cm (9˝)L.
