Moh Scale Hardness Points
Determining the relative hardness of a mineral is one of the basic tests in mineral identification. This set consists of six cut minerals, one mounted at each end of three 75mm brass rods, stamped with the number of the mineral's hardness, in a snap-fastened case. Points include harnesses 5,6,7,8,8.5 and 9, with 10 hardness as a separate rod.
