Description

Brunton Compass Geo Transit 0-360 Degrees

"All Brunton Transit compasses are balanced for Australian use. If you require a Brunton Transit for use in another location please email sales@prospectors.com.au."

The newest and most advanced Transit incorporates suggestions and ideas from professionals to make it the ultimate tool for their use. The solid aluminum, waterproof Geo Transit contains a fast, magnetic north-seeking rare-earth magnet balanced on a sapphire jewel bearing for quick measurements. The most noticeable feature is the hinge clinometer, accurate to +/—2. This feature allows simultaneous trend and plunge measurements, reducing the number of measurements required in the field. An innovative needle design can be locked or unlocked.

The Geo Pocket Transit is the latest addition to Brunton's industry-standard line of pocket transits, which are legendary for accuracy, durability, and simplicity.

The Brunton Geo Transit International is identified as such primarily due to its engineering. Once calibrated, it is more accommodating to regional fluctuations in magnetic force than Non-International Brunton models. The Brunton Geo Pocket Transits accuracy is not as precise as non-international Transits, but it is suitable for users who plan on using the instrument in different regions of the world.
