Hardness Points Moh Scale
Determining a mineral's relative hardness is one of the basic tests in mineral identification. This set consists of six cut minerals, one mounted at each end of three 75mm brass rods, stamped with the mineral's hardness number, in a snap-fastened case. Points include harnesses 5,6,7,8,8.5, and 9, with ten hardness as a separate rod.
