Pesola Inner Tube for MFT-Scale 43000/5

This replacement part is designed exclusively for the PESOLA MFT-Scale 43000/5, used for myofunctional therapy.

Despite the scale’s shock-absorbing components, repeated recoil following release at maximum load over several hundred cycles can eventually cause fatigue failure of the internal tube. This replacement part allows the affected tube assembly to be replaced and the scale returned to service.

Installation Instructions

1. Turn the setscrew counterclockwise until the spring and internal tube are released from the scale.
2. Pull out the defective internal tube. If necessary, press the elastic marker into the slit to assist removal.
3. Insert the new replacement part 41.43005 into the outer aluminium tube, with the tube positioned first.
4. Press the marker in slightly.
5. Continue inserting the plastic internal tube while turning it simultaneously until the marker clicks securely into the slit.
6. Hold the scale upside down and turn the setscrew clockwise until the zero point is correctly adjusted. The scale is now ready for use in the measuring position.
   

The replacement part can be sterilised in an autoclave at a maximum temperature of 120°C and 1 bar pressure for up to 45 minutes, or using acetylene for up to 15 hours. Please note that the synthetic components are not compatible with high concentrations of chlorine or chlorine-based compounds, as exposure may cause damage or deterioration of the plastic parts.
